You are met at Entebbe airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Travel time is roughly five minutes.

An early breakfast, then the drive west to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the afternoon, with a stop at the equator. Approximately six hours.

Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest or Kyambura Gorge.
Afternoon boat trip on the channel, followed by an evening game drive.

After breakfast, drive south through Ishasha to the southern side of Bwindi.
Relax in the evening and prepare for the next day’s gorilla tracking.

This morning you set off for gorilla trekking, hiking through thick rainforest to eventually come across the gorillas in their natural habitat. Trek times vary, as these are wild animals.
If time allows there are optional afternoon activities unique to Bwindi. A village walk takes you to meet a traditional healer who uses his knowledge to conserve and teach about medicinal plants. The Batwa trail introduces the indigenous people of Bwindi, hunter-gatherers who depended on these forests for shelter, food and medicine.
